What I hope to learn..
What I hope to learn from this course is how to become a leader in my future career and in my social life. I also hope working in a learning team goes as well as the other class but it is of course different people so it might not run as smoothly. In this case I will have to learn how adapt to others even better than I had already learned. This will help grow my leadership skills because I will always be working in teams when being a teacher. Each grade level teachers have to work together and help one another.

As a teacher who has been educating for several years I wanted to tell you that you are correct about your predictions. You will always be part of a team as teacher. As the economy worsens and the budgets for schools take a hit, administrators are looking for ways to still develop their staffs without the professional development funds that once existed. It will become a larger program than grade levels. I believe that it will become school wide, district wide, and maybe even reach the point where schools from different towns collaborate together. Schools are filled with educated people, many of whom can be considered experts in their fields. An inventive way to develop educators will be to create teams that are developed by their own colleagues. You sound like you're on the right track, I just thought I'd confirm your ideas and why you wanted to enter an advanced degree program.
